It opens on the date you choose.

A letter to your kid for their 18th birthday. A promise. A prediction to reopen in ten years. A time capsule: sealed today, encrypted in your browser, impossible to open early, with a public proof that it exists from today.

The content is encrypted either way; this only decides whether title and countdown appear in the public feed.

How it works

  1. 1. Write your message and pick the opening date: at least one year from today. Nondum is for the things that matter.
  2. 2. Your browser encrypts it toward that date with the drand network (time-lock encryption). We only ever receive ciphertext.
  3. 3. A fingerprint of the content and the date are written to Solana: public proof that the capsule exists from today and was never changed.
  4. 4. On the date, the network publishes the key and anyone with the link can open the capsule.
